About OTIF
OTIF is an intergovernmental organization dedicated to international rail transport It has been active since 1893 and is the oldest international organization in the sector. It now has 50 Member States and 1 Associate Member.
Regional Assemble for Middle East (RAME)
The Regional Assembly for Middle East (RAME) was the first Regional Assembly which was established within UIC after the restructuring of UIC.
Organization for Cooperation Between Railways (OSJD)
There was an urgent demand since the late 1940s for the creation of uniform legal and economic standards for the carriage of passengers and goods on international railways. Painstaking work was done preceding the foundation of OSJD.
